  • Become a guardian to one of the 50 trees available in the creation of these ecosystems.

  • $700 CAD
    *Donations are tax deductable.

  • To make the Forêt Collective a reality, we are offering $700 bundles for 50 available trees.

    Each $700 bundle guarantees the planting of one tree, one shrub, and one perennial.

    All guardians will be recognized by the Forêt Collective at the planting day in autumn of 2024.

Parks Canada and the Southwest borough have jointly created the La Forêt Collective using public lands at the Lachine Canal National Historic Site.

In creating the Forêt Collective, we are dedicated to cultivating a thriving ecosystem that seamlessly blends with Montréal's urban landscape. Our meticulous selection process is guided by GRAME and Concordia University’s ZITER Urban Landscape Ecology Lab.

Together, we ensure that every plant and tree species is carefully chosen to flourish in the local climate, soil conditions, and available space.

This thoughtful approach guarantees a resilient, impactful environment built to endure for generations.
